Confidential Support

A Confidential Place to Talk

I worked in financial markets for 30 years and lived in several countries. I understand the pressure, the culture and the expectations we place on ourselves to keep going, even when things are starting to fall apart.

The Reality

I pushed every part of my life and kept going long after the pressure had started affecting my health, relationships and ability to cope. I didn’t want to bother anyone or show weakness, and I didn’t know anyone I could talk to who would understand the chaos I was living through.

How I might be able to help

What We Can Talk About

Burnout and Feeling Overwhelmed

Workplace Pressure and Stress

Personal Support and Recovery

When exhaustion, pressure and responsibility are starting to affect your work, health, relationships or ability to cope.

A place to talk honestly and openly about personal expectations in the workplace, ongoing pressure and the effect these can have on life outside work.

Support around relationships, grief, shame, loneliness, recognising signs of potentially addictive behaviour, major life changes and recovery, without judgment or lectures.

Addiction Support

Where alcohol, drugs or any other addiction is involved, I will always help someone find the right support. I understand how difficult it can be to recognise that help is needed and to take the first step, because I have been there myself. This may include helping someone find suitable local AA, CA, NA, GA, OA or SA meetings, as well as rehabilitation, medical care or crisis services where appropriate. I will help them understand the options available and find the most appropriate route to support.

My Story

I Get It

After three decades in financial markets, I know how easy it is to normalise stress, exhaustion and unhealthy ways of coping. When everyone around you is carrying on, it can be difficult to recognise when something is starting to go wrong.

I have experienced burnout, addiction, treatment and recovery myself. I am not here to lecture anyone or tell them how to live. I offer a confidential, honest and non-judgmental space to talk things through.
